Brenda Walden joined CHOSEN Community Development Corporation in August of 2020, as Director, Community Resources and Careers. After a brief period of traveling following retirement from a 38-year career with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she held several positions including Chief Steward, American Federation of Government Employees, Payroll Supervisor and Supervisory Human Resources Specialist.  Prior to Covid-19 Brenda had the privilege of serving as a missionary in Ghana, West Africa. She has a long track record of community service.  Today, she oversees the day today operations of the Community Resources and Careers Section of the CHOSEN Community Development Corporation.  Outside the office she is passionate about evangelism, her family (especially her 3 grandchildren) and walking.
