Through initiatives such as the CHOSEN to RISE Next GEN Entrepreneur Academy and the CHOSEN Leadership Academy, participants gain hands-on exposure to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, workforce development, public speaking, teamwork, and community leadership. These programs provide students with meaningful mentorship, real-world skill development, and opportunities to explore their unique talents and purpose while fostering resilience, creativity, and a mindset for future success. CHOSEN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
The CHOSEN Leadership Academy is a dynamic youth development and mentorship program designed to equip students and emerging leaders with the skills, confidence, and support needed to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Through meaningful mentorship relationships, hands-on experiences, leadership training, and community engagement opportunities, participants are empowered to discover their voice, strengthen their character, and develop the tools necessary to become positive changemakers within their communities.
The academy fosters a culture of encouragement, accountability, and growth by connecting participants with mentors, professionals, educators, and community leaders who provide guidance, inspiration, and real-world insight. Students engage in interactive workshops focused on leadership development, communication, teamwork, goal setting, financial literacy, career exploration, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and personal wellness.
At the core of the CHOSEN Leadership Academy is the belief that every young person has purpose, potential, and the ability to rise above challenges when supported by strong mentorship and opportunities for growth. The program is committed to helping participants build lasting confidence, meaningful relationships, and a foundation for lifelong success while inspiring them to lead with integrity, compassion, and vision.

CHOSEN to RISE
Next Gen Entrepreneur Academy
CHOSEN to RISE is an after school middle school entrepreneurship and leadership academy designed to empower students as resilient innovators who strive for excellence. Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world business challenges participants build confidence skills and vision to rise as the next generation of leaders.
Program Focus
CHOSEN to RISE equips youth with the tools mindset and support needed to turn ideas into action while developing resilience, leadership, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Participants engage in immersive learning experiences that blend innovation, teamwork, and real-world exposure to business and community leadership.
What Participants Experience
Field Trips
Students participate in educational field trips that expose them to businesses, institutions, and community partners helping them connect classroom learning to real-world careers and opportunities.
Business Plans
Participants learn how to develop and present business ideas from concept to execution including problem solving, market research, and pitching.
Peer and Expert Mentors
Youth are supported by both peer mentors and experienced professionals, who provide guidance, encouragement, and real- world insight throughout the program.
Youth Shark Tank
Students showcase their ideas in a Shark Tank style experience where they pitch to a panel, build presentation skills, and receive constructive feedback.

NextGen Entrepreneur Academy
CHOSEN to RISE Pitch Competition
The NextGen Entrepreneur Academy equips students with the mindset, skills, and confidence to transform ideas into real world business solutions. Throughout the program year, participants learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship including problem solving, branding, financial literacy, market research, leadership, and professional presentation.
The program culminates in our annual CHOSEN to RISE Pitch Competition, where students take the stage to present their business concepts before community leaders, local partners, and supporters. This powerful experience allows young innovators to sharpen their communication skills, demonstrate resilience, and showcase their growth.
More than a competition, this event represents the heart of our mission. We develop resilient innovators who strive for excellence, empowering youth to see themselves as leaders, creators, and change makers in their communities.
